One of the main reasons I felt compelled to start blogging is because I find myself seeking and needing daily inspiration in my life. From family to friends to fellow moms and co-workers, I am surrounded by women everyday who come from all walks of life and are in different stages of life, but in the end, living for one common goal, trying to live our best life.
I have some great friendships that have formed over the last 10 years with fellow moms who share and post inspiring quotes on social media all the time. I look forward to and enjoy reading them because they either give me that extra boost I need in my day or give me a little laugh, usually when they are relatable mom issues. These daily/weekly bits of inspiration provide a break from the everyday routine and I look forward to them all the time. These are truly valued friendships as we share a common goal, succeeding and surviving the mom years.
From there, I have my deeper relationships with family that really inspire me through love and understanding. When I am feeling stuck or down (common traits of a mom with a teen and pre-teen), I know exactly where I can turn. I feel incredibly blessed to have these individuals because I truly don’t know where I would be without them.
I have been so fortunate over the years in my career to be able to work with some amazingly smart, talented women. I have worked with some great men too but there is nothing more inspiring than seeing fellow female professionals succeed and excel at their specialty areas. Some of the best friendships I have maintained over the years have come from co-worker relationships, both past and present.
Through all of these relationships, there is a wealth of knowledge, expertise, understanding and support that shines through. One of my main goals through the course of this blog is to introduce some of the amazing women who make a difference in my life and be able to share some of their experiences and talents with all of you. My hope is that you will find some of your own inspiration and discover some areas of your life that you want to grow and expand. I can’t wait to share these women with you as you join me on this journey of inspiration.
