5 Things I’m Loving from Trader Joe’s

It’s hard to believe that just a few years ago, I never shopped at Trader Joe’s. Yes, I said it. I honestly have no excuse. There is literally one down the street from me. I will honestly admit that I didn’t get the hype and felt like it was yet another weekend stop on my list of errands. I am happy to report I have since converted and am now a regular weekly shopper. While we all have our seasonal favorites, I thought I would share 5 of my recent top items that make it into my cart regularly.

Gluten Free Waffles

First of all, you would never know for a second that these were gluten free which is almost unheard of. In fact, I think I was eating them consistently before I even noticed that they were gluten free. They are part of my regular weekday breakfast routine with some almond butter and sliced bananas. Speaking of gluten free, if you haven’t tried their coffee cake gluten free muffins, they are amazing.

Truly Tortilla Chips

While I am a picky eater for the most part, I can’t resist a good tortilla chip so I had to try this healthier option to see if they would work for my regular snacking. While they may not be for everyone, I love them. They have a hard consistency and lots of salty taste but less oil and fat than my grocery store favorites.

Sparkling Peach Black Tea

Just looking at these makes me think of summer days poolside with a good book and a refreshing iced tea. The peach in this one is subtle and the sparkling may not be for all (my daughter was not a fan) but I find it a great alternative to a soda. These come in other flavors too and in a 4 pack box. Grab some to try for your next beach or pool day.

Brown sugar oat milk creamer

I have never tried the Starbucks brown sugar espresso drink but this reminded me of it and I decided to give it a try. I am also sensitive to milk so this seemed like a great alternative. It is much sweeter than I thought and a perfect weekend treat to my regular iced coffee.

Chocolate chip cookie dough

I am a big fan of always having a quick dessert on hand to make when either my sweet tooth kicks in or we have surprise guests over. I recently saw these on one of my shopping trips so I thought I would give them a try. Not only do they taste amazing but they fill the house with that freshly baked cookie smell with a lot less mess and time.

So, now that you have seen some of my favorites, I want to know what you recommend I pick up on my next shopping trip. Have a great weekend friends!
